Jinbo Dou

Jinbo Dou is currently a Principal Scientist at Medtronic, focusing on biosensor research and next-generation continuous glucose monitoring systems since February 2022. Previously, Jinbo Dou worked as a Senior Scientist at Alcon, where expertise was applied in contact lens development, including the creation of new analytical methods and investigation of polymer materials. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Chemist at Ultra Ink Inc, developing enhanced tattoo inks and techniques, as well as positions as a Research Associate and Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where foundational research in polymer systems and drug delivery was conducted. Jinbo Dou holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the University of Tennessee, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University.
