Michael Lohuis is the Vice President, Research and Innovation at Semex since March 2017. Prior to this, Michael held various leadership positions at Monsanto Company, including Director of Environmental Strategies for Agriculture, Director of IP & Collaborations, Global Breeding, Director of Crop Biometrics, and Program Director of Animal Genomics & Breeding. Michael also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Guelph from 1994 to 1998. Michael holds a PhD in Animal Breeding & Genetics from the University of Guelph, where Michael also earned their B.Sc. in Agriculture.
