Joon Hurh

Joon Hurh is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the medical device industry, currently serving as the VP & President of Medtronic since July 2004. Notable achievements include leading the successful merger between Medtronic and Covidien in 2015 and driving Korea to receive the "Highest Growth" award in Developed Markets for three consecutive years. Joon's previous roles include leadership positions overseeing the Asia Pacific region and various responsibilities within ASEAN and Korea. Prior to Medtronic, Joon held regional business director positions at Johnson & Johnson Medical and Becton Dickinson & Company, and started a career at American Cyanamid as a business manager. Joon holds an MBA from UCLA and a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management from aSSIST.
