Lee Travis

Lee Travis is a distinguished engineer currently serving as the R&D lead on the Diabetes New Ventures Team at Medtronic Diabetes, focusing on the Implantable Pump Portfolio since May 2023. Previously, Lee held the position of VP Design Services and Site Leader at Design Solutions, Inc., where leadership spanned contract engineering teams in medical devices and the establishment of the Colorado office. At Baxter International Inc., Lee worked as the Director of Engineering for Hospital Products, overseeing a large engineering staff and driving significant product development initiatives. Prior roles include independent consulting at Kenai Medical LLC, co-founding WalkMed Infusion LLC, and executive management at Wi Inc. Lee started as a mechanical engineer at XS Engineering and contributed as a product development engineer at Medtronic. Educationally, Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University.
