Mark Blake

Mark Blake serves as the Head of IP Litigation at Medtronic since April 2024, bringing extensive experience in intellectual property and litigation. Previously, Mark held the position of Senior Director of Litigation, Intellectual Property and Strategy at Edwards Lifesciences from September 2021 to April 2024, and earlier served as Director in the same field. Mark's career includes roles as Litigation, Intellectual Property and Compliance Counsel at Masimo, Senior Counsel at Broadcom, and Associate positions at Jones Day, Sheppard Mullin, and Howrey LLP, focusing on patent litigation, licensing transactions, and strategic consulting. Mark began the legal career with judicial externships at the U.S. District Courts and U.S. Courts of Appeals. Educational qualifications include a JD from the University of San Diego School of Law and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
