Michael Ketcha

Michael Ketcha is a Principal AI Engineer at Medtronic since October 2020, specializing in advanced technologies for medical applications. Prior to this role, Michael completed a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University from August 2014 to July 2020, focusing on designing methods and statistical theories for image-guided surgery under the mentorship of Jeffrey H. Siewerdsen. Michael also served as an Imaging Scientist at Sonavex, Inc. from April 2013 to February 2015, where responsibilities included developing and testing algorithms for B-Mode and Doppler ultrasound image analysis. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with an Imaging Concentration from Johns Hopkins University, completed in 2014.
