Mike Bruggeman

Mike Bruggeman currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Medtronic since December 2024. Prior to this role, Mike was the Chief Information Officer at Orbia from May 2020 to November 2024, where responsibilities included establishing a global IT function focused on trust and value creation. Mike's extensive experience at Cargill from January 1998 to May 2020 encompassed roles such as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the Food Ingredients and Bioindustrials Division, overseeing a budget of $170 million and managing a large team. Mike’s earlier roles include regional IT leadership for EMEA and business relationship management across multiple regions. Mike holds an MBA from St. Ambrose University and a BS in Computer Science from William Penn University.
