Nicholas Yearout

Nicholas Yearout is a skilled Test Engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently employed as a Test Engineer II at Sierra Space since April 2022, Nicholas previously worked as a Test Engineer at Air Squared where responsibilities included test stand design, equipment selection, and troubleshooting scroll prototypes. Prior to that, Nicholas served as a Research Assistant at Colorado School of Mines, focusing on advanced water treatment systems and membrane support design, along with experience as a Systems Engineer at Raytheon, where data analysis and documentation organization were key tasks. Additional roles included teaching assistance and engineering internships at Boeing and Colorado State University, contributing to both academic and engineering projects. Nicholas holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University.
