Zacharias Chen

Zacharias Chen is a mechanical engineering and computer science student at Duke University, expected to graduate in June 2025. Currently serving as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Pirouette Medical Inc. since May 2023, Zacharias has also been an Undergraduate Researcher at Brain Tool Laboratory since January 2022, focusing on integrating optical coherence tomography into a 3D brain point cloud for autonomous brain tumor procedures. Previous experience includes a Teaching Assistant role at Duke University Pratt School of Engineering, a Mechanical Engineering Internship at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, and a Cyber Intern position at MISI. Zacharias has contributed to notable projects involving desalination technologies and network infrastructure development for government contractors.
