Chiara Costanzo

Chiara Costanzo has a diverse work experience in the veterinary field. Chiara is currently working as the Medical Director at MedVet since March 2022. Previously, they worked at CVS Group Plc as a Veterinary Surgeon starting in August 2021. Chiara also held the positions of OOH vet surgeon and New Graduates Mentor from June 2018 to August 2021, Clinical Director from August 2016 to May 2018, and Senior Veterinary Surgeon from March 2015 to May 2018. Prior to that, they worked at YourVets as a Veterinary Surgeon from December 2014 to February 2015. Before that, they had a role as a Locum Veterinary Surgeon as a self-employed individual from October 2013 to November 2014. Additionally, they worked part-time as a Veterinary Surgeon at YourVets from March 2013 to September 2013.

Chiara Costanzo began their education in 1996 at Liceo classico Giulio Cesare Roma, where they received their Maturità Classica degree in Classical and Ancient Studies in 2001. Chiara then attended Università degli Studi di Teramo from 2001 to 2007, earning a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine degree in Veterinary Medicine. In 2008, they continued their studies at the same university, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in veterinary medicine with a focus on small animal. Their PhD program lasted until 2011. Most recently, from 2017 to 2020, Chiara Costanzo attended BSAVA where they obtained a postgraduate certificate in the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Medicine Program.
