Emily Klosterman has a strong background in veterinary medicine and has worked in various roles over the past decade. Emily is currently the Medical Director at MedVet, a role they started in October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at the Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center from 2012 to 2020 as an Internal Medicine Specialist. In this role, they provided advanced care for dogs and cats with various diseases and also taught veterinary interns. Before that, they were a Resident in Small Animal Medicine at Purdue University from 2009 to 2012, where they provided advanced care for dogs and cats and taught veterinary students. In 2008, they worked as an Intern in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Purdue University. Overall, Emily Klosterman has extensive experience in internal medicine and has contributed to the training and education of future veterinarians.

Emily Klosterman received their education from several institutions. Emily attended Walnut Hills High School from 1995 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from The Ohio State University, graduating in 2005. Emily then went on to earn a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from The Ohio State University, completing their studies in 2008. Emily continued their education at Purdue University, where they obtained both a Master of Science (MS) degree in Veterinary Clinical Sciences and Diplomate ACVIM (Internal Medicine) certification from 2009 to 2012.
