Sara Meiggs

Sara Meiggs has a diverse work experience in the field of veterinary medicine. Sara began their career as a Student Intern at Seneca Falls Veterinary Hospital in 2012, where they shadowed Dr. Darby to gain more knowledge in small animal veterinary medicine. Sara then worked as an Intern at Grandview Animal Clinic for a brief period in 2015, where they gained hands-on experience in various veterinary tasks, including running fecal flotations, preparing ear cytologies, and assisting in surgical procedures.

From 2013 to 2017, Sara was a Student at The Ohio State University, where they pursued their veterinary education. Following their graduation, they joined Sandstone Animal Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian from 2017 to 2018, before moving on to VCA Animal Hospitals, where they worked as an Associate Veterinarian from 2018 to 2023. Their role at both places involved providing veterinary care for animals.

Currently, Sara is employed as an Urgent Care Veterinarian at MedVet, starting in June 2023. Overall, they have gained valuable experience in the veterinary field through their education and diverse range of professional roles.

Sara Meiggs obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Hobart and William Smith Colleges between 2009 and 2013. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at The Ohio State University from 2013 to 2017, specializing in veterinary medicine.
