Tareq Jaber

Tareq Jaber has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Tareq started their career as a Physician in gerontology and geriatric psychiatry department at Envida in 2011, where they worked with elderly patients and gained experience in co-morbidity and polypharmacy. Tareq then moved on to Cicero Zorggroep in 2012, where they worked as a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician and was responsible for compiling rehabilitation and treatment plans, promoting patient mobility, and coordinating the rehabilitation process. In 2013, they joined Elisabeth-TweeSteden Ziekenhuis (ETZ) as an Internal Medicine Physician, where they specialized in gastroenterology and gained experience in the fields of oncology, nephrology, infectiology, and emergency care. Tareq then worked at Vincent van Gogh voor Geestelijke Gezondheidszorg from 2014 to 2016 as a General Practitioner in Forensic and Intensive Psychiatry, where they were involved in psychosomatic care and adolescent psychiatry. In 2016, they joined Utrecht University for a family practice residency, which lasted until 2017. Most recently, in 2019, they co-founded Medvice.

Tareq Jaber pursued their education at Maastricht University from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Master of Science (MSc) degree in the field of Geneeskunde.
