Greg O'Kane

Greg O'Kane is a Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at the University of Bath since February 2022, involved in postgraduate education for primary care, community programs, and independent prescribing. Concurrently, Greg serves on the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's short life working group on prescribing and the Advisory Panel for the Medicines, Ethics and Practice guide. As a Pharmacist Prescriber in Urgent Care at Medvivo Group Ltd since August 2018, Greg delivers clinical triage and medication consultations while contributing to various quality committees. Prior roles include NHS 111 Clinical Advisor, Specialist Inspector for the General Pharmaceutical Council, and Lead Medicines Optimisation Pharmacist. Greg holds a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy from Queen's University Belfast and several additional qualifications in pharmacy practice and independent prescribing.
