Mehul Patel

Mehul Patel has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Mehul currently holds the position of Director, Evidence Solutions at Prova Health, where they are involved in generating evidence for new digital health technologies. Prior to this, they worked as a Clinical Lead at Medwise.ai and as a Clinical Safety Officer/Clinical Advisor at Islacare. Mehul has also served as an Advisor at Docolabs.io and as a General Practitioner at the NHS. Mehul has been associated with organizations such as the Faculty of Clinical Informatics, University of Leeds, The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust, and Health Education England in various capacities. Mehul's expertise includes health informatics, digital transformation, and using technology to improve primary care.

Mehul Patel completed their MSc in Health Informatics at UCL from 2019 to 2022. In 2020, they also pursued a Clinical Safety Officer degree at NHS Digital. In 2019, Mehul completed an EASA Advanced Aviation Medicine program at King's College London, and in 2018, they also completed an EASA Basic Aviation Medicine program at the same institution. Prior to that, they obtained their MRCGP in Medicine from the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2017. Mehul also completed the European Certificate in Essential Palliative Care at Princess Alice Hospice in 2017. In 2010, they obtained a BMedSci degree in Medical Ethics and Law from the University of Birmingham. Finally, from 2006 to 2012, Mehul studied Medicine and earned an MBChB degree at the University of Birmingham.
