Dawn Wessels

Dawn Wessels has over 20 years of experience in project management and interior design. Dawn is currently employed as a Project Manager for McCownGordon Construction since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager II for Medxcel Facilities Management from 2018 to the present. In this role, they were responsible for planning, tracking, and evaluating complex capital projects, as well as developing construction project management policies and procedures.

From 2012 to 2018, Dawn worked as a Project Manager for Via Christi Health, where they managed the design, planning, estimating, and construction of projects within the hospitals division. Dawn also ensured compliance with safety codes and regulations and participated in quality assurance efforts.

Before that, they held positions as a Senior Interior Designer at Health Facilities Group, LLC from 2010 to 2012, where they created interior design schemes for healthcare facilities, and as a Project Manager at encompas from 2006 to 2010, where they managed facility management projects from proposal to completion.

Dawn's earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Interior Designer at Ellerbe Becket from 2004 to 2006, where they handled interior and architectural design for various projects, and as an Interior Designer at Shaughnessy Fickel & Scott Architects from 2002 to 2004, where they worked on programming, planning, and design for municipal buildings and corrections facilities.

Dawn began their career as an Interior Designer at Ellerbe Becket in 2001, where they assisted with interior and architectural design for collegiate and professional team projects.
