Dale Smith, CFA has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Dale started their career at Coopers & Lybrand where they quickly climbed the ranks from Audit Staff to Audit Manager. After that, they joined The Winsbury Company as the Director of Fund Accounting, where they successfully grew the department and managed multiple client relationships. Following their role at The Winsbury Company, Dale joined BISYS Fund Services as the Chief Financial Officer, and later as the Senior Vice President of Fund Accounting. During their time at BISYS, they led a turnaround of an underperforming unit and managed a team of over 450 professionals. Currently, Dale is the Chief Investment Officer at Meeder Investment Management, where they are responsible for overseeing all investment-related functions for a financial services firm with over $30 billion under management and advisement.

Dale Smith, CFA, has a strong educational background in economics and finance. In 1978, they graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, where they pursued a dual major in accounting and computer science. Dale also minored in statistics during their time at the university. Following that, in 2008-2009, Dale attended Ohio University and obtained a Master's in Financial Economics (MFE). Additionally, Dale holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
