Gregg Lauer

As the senior site selection manager at Meeting Expectations, Gregg Lauer, CMP, brings a wide array of expertise. His meeting planning experience includes positions at Aptos, Equifax, Manhattan Associates, and Dun & Bradstreet Software. Gregg also has an extensive hotel background including eight years as director of catering & convention services at the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta.

Gregg has served on several MPI Georgia Chapter committees including the Curriculum Committee, Board Nominating Committee, and Harvest Gala Committee. In 1995-1996 he was co-chair of the International Paralympic Volunteer Committee. Since 2001, he has served as vice-chair of the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Study Group Committee.

Gregg has received several awards from MPI Georgia Chapter including the Hayward C. Cox, Jr., CMP, Continuing Quality Award (2003), Planner of the Year Award (2010), and the Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award (2012). He also led his team to be awarded the Starwood Convention Services Team of the Year Award in 2002.

Gregg graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Communications from the University of Akron.
