Lisa Burton

As senior vice president of the meeting management business unit, Lisa Burton, CMP, is responsible for the operational management and strategic direction of the group, which is comprised of meeting planners, registration staff and site selection/contract management experts. Her focus is on client oversight, continuous improvement and growth of the department while maintaining proper service levels.

Lisa joined Meeting Expectations in 1996 and has extensive experience with clients worldwide. She has worked with client events ranging from customer and franchisee conferences, seminar series, sales and analyst meetings to city-wide conventions. Her customer portfolio includes industries such as high-tech, franchise, salon/spa and agriculture. Her excellence was recognized by ConventionSouth magazine when she was named a Meetings Professional to Watch.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Louisiana State University. She is active in the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).
