Marjolein Pleune

Marjolein Pleune has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Marjolein founded Meet Jack in 2017 and held the role of Jack's Founder. Prior to that, they were a member of the Tracing Team at Rode Kruis Nederland from 2011 to 2020. In 2018, they served as an Interim Project Manager at Amsterdam Conference Centre Beurs van Berlage. In 2017, they participated in the Business Model Challenge at Impact Hub Amsterdam. From 2014 to 2017, Marjolein was the Head of Marketing, Communications, and E-commerce at AKO. Marjolein also worked as a Project Manager at AKO Audax from 2011 to 2014. Before that, they held an interim position as a Policy Officer at NCDO in 2010 and worked as a Quality Manager at D-reizen from 2004 to 2010. Marjolein started their career as a Junior Consultant at ZKA Consultants & Planners from 2001 to 2003 and as a Management Assistant at Cordaid in 2000.

Marjolein Pleune holds a Master's Degree in International Relations, which they completed at the University of Amsterdam from 1998 to 2001. After that, they pursued a Post bachelor degree in Quality and Change management at Avans University of Applied Sciences, spending the years 2006 to 2008 in the program. Prior to that, Marjolein attended Breda University of Applied Sciences from 1994 to 1998, where they studied International Tourism Management and Consulting, resulting in a Bachelor of Science degree. It is unclear when Marjolein attended Arcus, but they obtained a VWO degree from there.
