Tommy Shafer has a diverse range of work experience. Tommy started their career as a Sales Associate at Walmart, where they assisted customers and maintained the fish tanks. Tommy then worked at Quad/Graphics, where they performed various tasks in a factory setting.

Tommy's career in technology began at the University of Wisconsin-Extension, Continuing Education, Outreach and E-Learning, where they worked as an Application/Web Developer. In this role, they developed a web portal and maintained multiple WordPress sites. Tommy also provided IT support and facilitated online meetings.

After that, Tommy joined Payneless Media as a Web Developer and later co-founded UnderBelly.io, where they rapidly prototyped and developed a React Native application. Tommy also determined priorities, strategized about fundraising and marketing, and made decisions about the direction of the company.

Tommy then worked as a Salesforce Developer at Penrod, where they designed and developed custom solutions for Salesforce implementations. Tommy quickly familiarized himself with the Salesforce ecosystem and worked with multiple clients.

Their next role was at Clock'd, where they served as a Technical Lead and Director of Software Development. Tommy architected and implemented a recruitment web application, consulted on business strategy, and communicated directly with the CEO to transform goals into features.

Currently, Tommy is working as a Software Engineer at Yogi. As a Senior Frontend Product Engineer, they refactor the client to use a more extensible global state management system. Tommy also analyzes user tactics, communicates with end-users to identify product opportunities and improvements, and enhances overall product quality.
