Ata Hussain

Ata Hussain is an accomplished professional in the field of information technology with extensive experience in the banking sector. Currently serving as the Head Center of Excellence at Meezan Bank Limited since October 2024, Ata manages enterprise projects, technology governance, enterprise architecture, and technology procurement. Previously, Ata was the Head of Information Technology at Sindh Bank Limited from August 2020 to September 2024, overseeing IT operations, strategy, budgeting, and digital projects while reporting to the President & CEO. Prior to that role, Ata held the position of Head of IT at BankIslami Pakistan Limited from May 2006 to July 2020, where responsibilities included IT strategy, planning, and operations management. Ata's early career includes a role as Principal Consultant at Inbox Business Technologies, focusing on client interaction, project management, and technical advisory. Ata holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Sir Syed University, earned between 1995 and 1998.
