Sairam Gurajada has extensive experience in research and technology roles. Sairam is currently working as a Senior Researcher at Megagon Labs starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Apple as a Research Scientist from October 2021 to December 2022. Before joining Apple, Sairam worked at the IBM Almaden Research Center from March 2017 to October 2021, where they focused on the entity resolution problem and automatic model selection for text-specific tasks. Sairam also worked as a Research Intern at IBM Almaden in 2015, where they developed optimization strategies for mitigating data skewness. Sairam's earlier experience includes a research internship at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, where they worked on distributed graph clustering algorithms, and as a Member Technical Staff at NetApp.
Sairam Gurajada completed their Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University between 2002 and 2006. Sairam then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 2006 to 2009. Following this, Sairam went on to earn their Doctorate (PhD) in Computer Science from the Max-Planck Institute for Informatics between 2011 and 2016.
