Rob Hartman

Rob Hartman is the current President of Engine Systems at Meggitt. Prior to joining Meggitt, Hartman was with ITT Corporation where they served as Site and Sales Leader. In this role, they were responsible for the Westminster, SC business that is part of the ITT Connect & Control Technologies division. This facility designs and manufactures a wide variety of industrial control products. In addition to leading all site activities, they also directly managed the sales teams that supported the Compact Automation, Conoflow, Neo-Dyn, and ITT Natural Gas Vehicle Regulator product lines.

For six months in 2016, Hartman acted as the Interim Site Leader for the ITT Aerospace Controls manufacturing site in Valencia, CA while continuing to managing the Westminster, SC business. Prior to joining ITT Corporation, Hartman was the Director of Operations at Southern Tea, LLC from March 2010 to April 2014. Before Southern Tea, LLC Hartman was with Snap-on Incorporated from April 2009 to December 2009 where they served as Vice President and General Manager of the Snap-on Power Tools Division.

In addition to their work in the private sector, Hartman has also been a Member of the NC State IES Advisory Board from January 2009 to December 2014.

Rob Hartman graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
