Lu Miao

Lu Miao has a diverse work experience in the biostatistics and research fields. They started their career as a Graduate Student in Toxicology and Cancer Biology at the University of Kentucky from September 2007 to July 2013. They then worked as a Cancer Biology Researcher at UT Southwestern Medical Center from September 2013 to February 2018. Lu Miao then pursued a Graduate Student in Statistics position at Texas A&M University from May 2016 to December 2018. They joined ClinChoice as a Biostatistician from March 2018 to December 2020, then as a Senior Biostatistician from January 2021 to June 2022, and finally as a Principal Biostatistician from July 2022 to the present. They also worked as an Associate Director of Biostatistics at MEI Pharma starting in November 2021.

Lu Miao earned a master's degree in Statistics from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Toxicology and Cancer Biology from the University of Kentucky, completing their studies from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, Lu Miao has obtained several certifications from SAS. In July 2016, they became a SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9. In August 2016, they achieved the SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 certification. In June 2017, they earned the SAS Certified Statistical Business Analyst Using SAS 9: Regression and Modeling certification. Finally, in February 2018, they obtained the SAS Certified Clinical Trials Programmer Using SAS 9 certification.
