Alexander Zegers is a seasoned professional in tax technology and transformation, currently serving as a Partner at Meijburg & Co since January 2020, where Alexander is the Global Lead for Indirect Tax Transformation. Previously, Alexander held the position of Head of ASPAC Tax & Legal Technology at KPMG China from July 2016 to December 2019, leading initiatives in data analytics and technology solutions for the tax function across the ASPAC region. Alexander's career includes roles at KPMG Nederland and KPMG South Africa, where expertise in tax technology and data analytics drove significant advancements in VAT processing and automation. Alexander's academic background includes advanced degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, and IT Auditing from Eindhoven University of Technology and TIAS School for Business and Society, along with an early career as a professional soccer player with Helmond Sport.
