Bastiaan Leewis

Bastiaan Leewis is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical industry with a strong background in cell and gene therapy and technology development. Currently serving as VP of MSAT at MeiraGTx since October 2016, Bastiaan has held several key positions including Sr. Director of MSAT and MSAT Manager of Industrialization. Prior to this role, Bastiaan worked at BioNTech IMFS as a Project Manager for Cell and Gene Therapy from July 2013 to September 2016, and at Lonza Netherlands, formerly PharmaCell, as Manager of Technology Development from March 2007 to July 2013. Bastiaan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomolecular Microbiology from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, obtained between 2004 and 2007.
