Sophie Busson

Sophie Busson, Ph.D., is a highly skilled research scientist with expertise in preclinical development, currently serving as Preclinical Development Research Scientist II at MeiraGTx since January 2020. Previously, Sophie held the position of MSAT Molecular Development Scientist, showcasing a strong background in molecular development. Experience includes a temporary role at Clarks as a trained fitter, where responsibilities included measuring and fitting shoes, maintaining stock, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, Sophie worked as a Sales Advisor at Debenhams, balancing work with studies and gaining valuable organizational and teamwork skills, and volunteered as a keeper at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, enhancing customer service abilities while caring for various animals. Sophie obtained a Ph.D. in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from UCL.
