Vincent Wiegmann

Vincent Wiegmann is an experienced professional in the field of biochemical engineering and biotechnology. Currently serving as an Upstream Process Development Senior Scientist I at MeiraGTx since August 2020, Vincent previously held the role of Upstream Process Development Scientist II in the same organization. Prior experience includes a doctoral student position at University College London from September 2016 to November 2021 and a student assistant role at co.don ag focused on clinical research and regulatory affairs. Additionally, Vincent completed an internship at Glycotope GmbH, where activities included media development for recombinant glycoprotein-producing human cell lines. Vincent earned a Ph.D. from UCL, a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Technische Universität Braunschweig, and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the same university, with prior studies in Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo.
