Ellen Gulezian is an experienced research scientist currently serving as an Associate Research Scientist at AbCellera since September 2018, with prior roles as Research Associate II and Research Associate. Ellen's expertise in microbiology and molecular biology was further developed during an internship with Versatope Therapeutics, where contributions were made towards the development of a universal flu vaccine. Previous research experience includes a project at the University of Massachusetts Amherst focusing on tick-borne diseases and the cloning of Borrelia burgdorferi outer surface protein C. Ellen has also gained practical skills through internships at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals and Anna Jaques Hospital, along with seasonal work at Twin Lanterns Dairy Bar. Ellen holds a Master of Science in Microbiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Wheaton College Massachusetts, with additional studies at the University of Sussex.
