Maria João Rocha e Abreu is a seasoned Senior Product Designer with extensive experience in leading design processes from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with user needs and organizational goals. Currently, at Meister since March 2024, Maria João collaborates with product teams to define product vision and strategy. Previous roles include Senior Product Designer at Airkit, where research activities were set up and led, and at Tamanna.com, where user research and workflow optimization were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes positions at OutSystems, Aptoide, Perfumes & Companhia, Syone, and internships that built a strong foundation in design principles, user experience, and stakeholder communication. Maria João holds a Master's degree in Communication Design from the University of Lisbon and a degree in Graphic Design from the Polytechnic of Leiria.
