Arthur Law

Arthur Law has extensive work experience in the legal field. From 2004 to 2006, they completed winter internships at Clifford Chance and Woo, Kwan, Lee & Lo. In 2008, they continued their legal career as a trainee solicitor at Woo, Kwan, Lee & Lo until 2010 when they became a solicitor at the same firm. Arthur then joined Forgame Holdings Ltd as a general counsel and company secretary from 2014 to 2017. After that, they worked at Alibaba Group as a legal counsel from 2017 to September 2017. Currently, Arthur Law serves as the general counsel at Meitu, Inc. starting from September 2017.

Arthur Law completed their Bachelor of Applied Finance with Bachelor of Laws degree at Macquarie University from 2002 to 2006, with a focus on Law & Finance. In 2006, they also obtained Practising Certificates in Securities, Corporate Finance, Derivatives, and Asset Management from the Hong Kong Securities Institute. Subsequently, in 2007, Arthur obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from The University of Hong Kong. During the same year, they completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at The College of Law in New South Wales, Australia. In 2006, they earned a Specialist Certificate in Securities from the Hong Kong Securities Institute. Additionally, Arthur obtained a Certificate in Chinese from Beijing Language and Culture University in 2005.

Arthur Law holds various certifications as well. In 2010, they became a solicitor in Hong Kong through the High Court of Hong Kong. Arthur also obtained the qualification of a solicitor in New South Wales, Australia, through the Supreme Court of the State of New South Wales in 2007. Moreover, they achieved the highest level of proficiency in both the Common Recruitment Examination - Use of English and the Common Recruitment Examination - Use of Chinese in 2021, awarded by the HKSAR Government.
