Hua Chen

Hua Chen is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently employed at Dianping since October 2012, Hua specializes in search and points of interest (POI) technologies. Prior to Dianping, Hua worked at EMC for a brief period focusing on USD storage management software development and at TeleNav, where responsibilities included POI content processing utilizing Hadoop and Cascading. Hua's career also includes a role as EMS Team Technical Leader and Software Engineer at Salira Systems from July 2006 to July 2011. Hua holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, completed in 2006.
