Daniel Smith

Daniel Smith has over 25 years of experience in the field of research and development (R&D). Daniel started their career as a Chemist at Caravan Ingredients in 1994. Daniel then worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Colgate Palmolive from 1997 to 2005. Daniel continued their journey at Covidien as a Group Leader from 2005 to 2007. Later, they joined Church and Dwight as a Senior Research Manager in R&D from 2007 to 2011. Since 2012, they have been associated with Melaleuca: The Wellness Company, initially as a Senior Director of R&D and currently as the Vice President of R&D. In their current role, they are responsible for developing new and innovative products, driving process and quality improvements, and leading a team of scientists and technicians.

Daniel Smith attended the State University of New York at Plattsburgh from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree in Molecular Biology. Before attending university, they also studied at Saranac Central, although specific details about their degree and field of study are unknown.
