Aaron Gant

Aaron Gant is an experienced legal and corporate governance professional, currently serving as General Counsel, Company Secretary, and Head of Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit and Insurance at Melbourne Airport since September 2019. Previously, Aaron held the position of General Manager Corporate Legal at Vicinity Centres, a major Australian retail property group, from October 2010 to August 2019. Aaron's extensive portfolio includes roles as Deputy General Counsel at AIA Australia, where significant contributions were made to corporate rebranding and large-scale transactions, and investment banking positions at Investec and ANZ, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Aaron's early legal career includes serving as a Senior Solicitor at Ashurst and a Solicitor at K&L Gates. Educational qualifications include an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia, along with Bachelor’s degrees in Arts and Laws from Monash University.
