The current leadership team at Melbourne Grammar School has a wealth of experience in education. The headmaster has previously been the head of Grimwade House, and before that, the headmaster at Southwell School. The deputy headmaster has also been headmaster at St George's School and Wanganui College Board. Both leaders have also been deputy headmasters at St Kentigern Trust Board. They both hold degrees from Massey University in Education.
