Joel Ernest

Joel Ernest is an experienced project manager currently overseeing a portfolio of surgical oncology trials at The Royal Melbourne Hospital since April 2022. Previous roles include clinical research coordination at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where responsibilities encompassed managing oncology trials and conducting trial management during a secondment in infectious diseases. Joel also contributed as a clinical research officer at The Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity, focusing on urgent COVID-19 trials, and worked as a research assistant at La Trobe University. Educationally, Joel holds a Master of Business Administration in Health Management from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Neurophysiology from the University of Melbourne.
