Tara Swindells

Tara Swindells is a Clinical Psychology Registrar at The Royal Melbourne Hospital since June 2023, engaged in the RMH Clinical Psychology Registrar Program. Concurrently, Tara serves as a Sessional Academic at Edith Cowan University since March 2021. Previous experience includes roles as a Provisional Psychologist, where Tara provided mental health services at Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, focusing on severe conditions, and at headspace, offering psychological assessment to youth. Tara also worked at ECU Psychological Services Centre and served as a mentor in the Curtin Specialist Mentoring Program. Earlier positions include community engagement and project support roles across various city councils. Educational qualifications include a Master of Clinical Psychology from Edith Cowan University and a Bachelor of Psychology (First Class Honours) from Curtin University, alongside degrees in Human Geography and Urban and Regional Planning, and Law & Society from The University of Western Australia.
