Sandra McKechnie currently serves as the Director of Whittlesea Tech School at Melbourne Polytechnic since February 2018. Prior to this, Sandra worked as a Senior Lecturer at Victoria University from January 2005 to July 2019, specializing in Biology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, and Immunology. Between 2001 and 2005, Sandra co-founded and managed Auscience Consulting Group, which offered educational programs and services. Sandra holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology from Victoria University, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching focused on Science Education and a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education. Additionally, Sandra possesses a Certificate IV in Small Business Management and a Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours in Biotechnology from Victoria University.
