Jackson Q. Crocker has extensive work experience in various roles related to nuclear security and defense. Jackson Q. is currently serving as the Vice President at MELE Associates, Inc. since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) where they held several positions including Director of the Office of Nuclear Incident Response (SES) from 2016 to 2023, Director of the Office of Nuclear Threat Science from 2012 to 2016, Deputy Director of the Office of Nuclear Counterterrorism from 2006 to 2012, and Program Manager from 2004 to 2006. Jackson Q. also worked as a Military Officer (Liaison) at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency from 2006 to 2023 and as a Military Officer (Space and Missile) in the United States Air Force from 1995 to 2006.

Jackson Q. Crocker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Purdue University, earned between 1990 and 1994. Jackson Q. later pursued a Master's degree in Information Resources Management from Central Michigan University from 1996 to 1998. In 2001 to 2002, Jackson obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Furthermore, they obtained a Master's degree in Military National Resource Strategy and Policy from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy, completed in 2009.
