Angie Gerdes

Angie Gerdes currently serves as an Academic Language Therapist at MELISSA ISD since June 2020, previously holding the position of Admissions and Guidance Coordinator at McKinney Christian Academy from August 2013 to June 2020. In the former role, Angie Gerdes administered testing for applicants, coordinated various student and parent engagement activities, managed applicant and current student files, and oversaw college admissions processes. As an Academic Language Therapist, responsibilities included developing individualized accommodation plans, managing small group testing, and creating lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles. Angie Gerdes holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Teacher Education from Southwest Texas State University, completed between 1985 and 1990.
