Endiya Griffin

Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow

Endiya Griffin is a dedicated professional in archiving, research, and community arts, currently serving as the Resident Archivist at Black Image Center since October 2022. Griffin holds roles as the 2022-23 Provost’s Research Fellow at the University of Southern California and a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow with the Mellon Foundation, focusing on increasing representation in academia. Previous experience includes serving as a Cultural Organizer for LA Commons, a Creative Mentorship Fellow for For Freedoms, and completing fellowships with the University of Chicago and Sweet Water Foundation, all of which emphasized community engagement through the arts and education. Griffin's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Visual Anthropology from the University of Southern California and an Associate of Arts in Sociology from San Diego Mesa College.
