Lauren Briggs

Lauren Briggs is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel at Melrose Plc since October 2018, Lauren has also taken on the role of Head of Legal - Civil Structures at GKN Aerospace as of October 2023. Prior to these positions, Lauren was an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and Allen & Overy, and held a secondee role as Legal Counsel at TPG Sixth Street Partners. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The London School of Economics and Political Science and completion of the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law, Moorgate. Lauren's expertise encompasses a range of corporate transactions, including private acquisitions and joint ventures.
