Samarendra Mohanty is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, and project management across various sectors. Currently serving as Group CIO at Melstar Information Technologies Limited since November 2024, Samarendra develops and executes technology strategies aligned with business goals while overseeing digital transformation initiatives incorporating emerging technologies such as AI and cloud computing. Previously, as Head of Business Intelligence at FedEx Express, Samarendra managed IT projects across multiple regions, focusing on automation and analytics. Samarendra co-founded and served as Vice President of IT & Operations at WWW.OUTOFCITY.COM, establishing a SaaS-based Corporate Expense Management system. With a solid background in IT applications, infrastructure management, and customer support spanning multiple organizations including Kingfisher Airlines and IBM Global Services, Samarendra holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Sambalpur University and is a Certified SAFe 4 Agilist.
