Loren Harrell

Loren Harrell has extensive experience in the technology industry, starting with their role as the Founder/President/Owner of SoftPro Corporation in 1984. Loren developed software for the title insurance and real estate closing industry, eventually selling the company to Fidelity National Financial in 2002.

Prior to SoftPro, Harrell served as President of Business Information Technology, Inc. from 1981 to 1983, and was a Software Engineer & Trainer at sas institute from 1978 to 1981.

Loren also worked as a Sr. Technical Rep. / Sales Rep. at GE Information Services Business Division / GEISCO from 1972 to 1978, and later became a Software Engineer & Co-founder at MemberHub.com in 2007.

Additionally, Harrell served on the Department of Computer Science Strategic Advisory Board at North Carolina State University from 2011 to 2016, where they were appointed Chairman in 2014.

Throughout their career, Harrell has demonstrated a strong background in software development, strategic advisory, and business leadership.

Loren Harrell attended North Carolina State University from 1968 to 1972, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
