Brad Kagawa

Brad Kagawa has a diverse work experience, starting from their most recent position as CTO at Memo since April 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Engineering at SimpleReach from October 2016 to April 2019. Kagawa also has a significant tenure at The New York Times, where they held several roles including Vice President of Technology, Content Management Systems from June 2012 to March 2016. Brad led a team responsible for building and maintaining software systems for managing and publishing content in both print and digital formats. Before joining The New York Times, they worked at Roundarch as a Technical Project Manager and as a Senior Consultant, focusing on content management systems and web development. Kagawa started their career as a Developer at Zentropy: Partners and Anderson Lembke/McCann-Erickson, where they built interactive banners and microsites, respectively. Brad also worked as an Analyst at Systems Applications International (ICF Consulting), specializing in environmental and traffic software models.

Brad Kagawa attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1993 to 1997. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering.
