Yair Etkes

Yair Etkes has been in the tech industry since 2012. From 2012 to 2017, they served in the Israel Defense Forces as a Training Supervisor, Squad Commander, and Combat solider in the Paratroopers Brigade (Tzanhanim). From 2017 to 2020, they worked as an Analyst at The Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel. In 2020, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at Nissan Nativ Acting Studio. In 2021, they joined Evogene as a Full Stack Developer, where they completed training covering microservices architecture, API, Kubernetes, ML python libraries, Unit testing, Agile methodology, and clean code writing. Yair also successfully delivered several tasks. In 2022, they joined Memomi Labs Inc (which was later acquired by Walmart) as a Machine Learning Engineer.

Yair Etkes is currently studying for a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at The Open University of Israel, which they began in 2018 and is expected to complete in 2021.
