Matt Walker

Matt Walker has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Matt started their career as a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Baptist Medical Center Montclair in 1999. Matt then joined Carraway Methodist Medical Center as a Nursing Resource Manager in 2001. In 2003, they moved to Singing River Health System and took on the role of Director of Perioperative Services, where they successfully increased surgical volume and oversaw hospital expansion projects. In 2009, Matt became the Vice President of Neuroscience at Singing River, overseeing significant growth and achievements in the field. Matt currently holds the position of Vice President of Clinical Operations at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport since 2019. Throughout their career, Matt has been actively involved in professional organizations and holds multiple licenses and certifications.

Matt Walker completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at Auburn University from 1994 to 1999. Matt further pursued a Master's degree at Samford University, specializing in Hospital and Health Care Facilities Administration/Management, completing it from 1999 to 2001.
