Diana Knaebe

System Administrator, Behavioral Health at Memorial Health

Diana Knaebe assumed the role of president, Memorial Behavioral Health, and system administrator, Behavioral Health, in January 2020. She previously served as the director of the Illinois Department of Human Services Division of Mental Health and as president and CEO of Heritage Behavioral Health Center in Decatur. She began her career in community behavioral health as a clinician at Van Buren County Mental Health Services in Michigan and earned a master of social work degree from Western Michigan University in 1986.

She has presented at many local, state and national events on topics including the continuum of housing for persons with a serious mental illness, strategic planning, leadership development, system transformation, integrated primary and behavioral health care and complementary and alternative health, as well as a wellness focus on physical and behavioral health. She served a guest writer for Mental Health Weekly from 2012 to 2013.
