Yamil Selman

Yamil Selman, MD, currently serves as the Head and Neck Surgeon at Memorial Healthcare System since August 2021, providing comprehensive clinical and surgical care for patients with cancers affecting the head, neck, face, oral cavity, and throat, including expertise in minimally invasive transoral robotic surgery and endoscopic skull base surgery. Prior experience includes a fellowship in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery, Skull Base, and Microvascular Reconstruction at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals from July 2020 to July 2021, where advanced cancer surgery techniques were honed. Yamil Selman completed residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine from June 2015 to June 2020, following medical education that culminated in an MD from the University of Virginia in June 2015. Earlier academic accomplishments include a Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Florida.
